We developed Hellocycle to take the hassle out of recycling everyday items. We know how difficult it can be to recycle certain things! Every city is different, and many of them don’t have capacity to recycle items besides basic paper and plastic. We want to empower you to make eco-friendly choices without extra stress. For that reason, we accept a diverse set of items in our subscription box. Here are the most popular:

However, the list of recyclable items doesn’t end there. We’re passionate about keeping dangerous items out of landfills, and helping you safely and successfully recycle items in your home. That means we’ll take just about anything you can safely ship to us. This includes adaptors, cords and cables; just about anything electronic, such as electric toothbrushes; and small flashlights and the like. We’ve seen it all!

What don’t we recycle? Anything that would be unsafe to send in the mail: leaking or corroded items, aerosols, gels, or liquids. Nor do we recycle anything larger than the foam cutouts in your subscription box allow. Any oversize batteries, electronics, or other large household items won’t fit in the box, so you’ll need to ask your municipal recycling department.

Besides those stipulations, we’re flexible. We are recycling experts!
